Sunset in San Diego

I was on a sunset ferry ride to the Coronado islands, San Diego. The glowing yellow ball of fire slowly sinking in the ocean caused several splendid backlit scenes of the lonely yacht and the Coronado bridge. The golden rays of sun reflected by the ripples had an shimmering effect.

Nature's vanity mirror

Vermilion lake, Banff national park.
Sunset on the snow capped mountains create a golden hue while this calm lake acts as a vanity mirror for the mountains to appreciate their might and beauty. These lakes are known for their crystal clear reflections and visiting them after the visit to Banff is one of the best ways to kiss a temporary goodbye to Banff and head back to Calgary.

Droplets...

Tiny droplets on my glasses.

Takakkaw(Magnificient) Rainbow...

Takakkaw falls, BC.
One of the many rainbows that I was able to shoot and stitch when nearing the falls through the paved walkway.

Emerald lake

Emerald lake, Yoho national park, BC.
Another beautiful lake with a clear pastel green colored water...
Canoe and row boat rentals sign nearby made us excited and immediately signed up for one and paddled our way into this calm lake. After which we took a hike around the lake to complete the emerald lake circuit.

Magnificient...

Takakkaw falls, Yoho national park, British Columbia.
Takakkaw literally means magnificient, and it really is! It is among the highest waterfalls in the world. There is a paved walkway to give a splendid view from the base of the falls. A moderately difficult hike on the nearby rocks can get you closer and give you a 'bloggable' experience if not an unforgetable one. The mist, deafening sound of the water and the cold turbulent wind from the falls would surely put you in a state of trans. Go on a clear sunny day you are bound to be teased every now and then by rings of rainbows.

Kananaskis waterfalls

...On the way to the upper Kananaskis lake.

The clear running water, the natural sound of water drumming the rocks and the misty atmosphere transcends anything the outer world has to offer... It is no surprise that we take a rather long break here.

A taste of Capilano...

Swinging bridge near Crazy Creek waterfalls

Refraction ... eh!

R.O.Y.G.B.I.V. ... V.I.B.G.Y.O.R.
I had not noticed until a friend of mine pointed out that in case of double rainbows, one is a mirror image of the other and the colors.
