Star of India

When I was staying in SA, my friend living in SD was kind enough to drive me to his place and went on a city tour. I completely enjoyed the tour. The maritime museum has a seemingly inconspicuous looking ship docked. The Star of India...This is supposedly the oldest sea ship built in Ramsey shipyard in circa 1863 AD. More on this ...

A glass of wine is all I need ...

... to see things clearly ;-)

View of a vineyard in Kelowna through a wine glass on display.

Golden couple on golden gate

This weekend, we were taking a walk on the golden gate and saw this old couple walking with their arms interlocked... engrossed in a conversation with unspoken words relying on the life they experienced together :-)

Yours truly...

Shadows are interesting subjects ... simple, lacking details, yet obscure, dark, has mystery written in every pixel of it.. No wonder eclipses scare people

I had a dream ...

There is something unclear, vague, murky about dreams.

Is this how I see people in my dreams? Or is this how I remember seeing them? Oh! maybe because I was not wearing my glasses :-)

Hallowed corridors of Stanford

Stanford chapel in my dreams ...

Thanks to the proximity of Stanford from my place, I visit the campus often. The last time I was there I wanted to experiment a few things.. I tend to believe that the intentional out of focus brings alive the symmetry of the corridors and a dream like feeling.. Not sure if I was successful :-)
