Moon rise in bonneville salt flats
Wendover is the first exit on I-80 E in Utah from Nevada. The sight that welcomes you from the desert land is vast salt lands that extend to the horizon. We entered Utah at 6.30(Pacific)7.30(Mountain) just when the sun set in the deserts behind us. We stopped for a while at a rest area near the Bonneville salt flats.

Day 0 San Jose to Lake Tahoe
Our first stop was at Lake Tahoe. Since we arrived at Lake Tahoe only at 11.45 in the night, we explored the area today. We rode a seadoo on lake tahoe for half hour. We had heard from our inn manager that the water at Lake Tahoe is so clear that you could see hundreds of feet inside the water. The water was not cold at all. That came to me as a surprise given that the lake is at an elevation of 6000 odd feet (6285 ft). The water was blue (celsum blue :)). Earlier we had been to a place called inspiration point vista overlooking the lake from a point above the emerald bay.
